Ace Manufacturing Systems Ltd., (AMS) one of the largest manufacturers of Vertical Machining Centers in India was started on February 24, 1994 by the promoters of ‘Ace Designers’- Mr. A.V. Sathe, Mr. B. Machado & Mr. S. G. Shirgukar along with Mr. P. Ramadas. Fired by the desire to Excell and backed by these Technocrats with wide experience in machine tools, AMS, today is a small ‘Big’ machine tool builder in the area of Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers ( 3rd largest machine tool builder in India).

To handle the ever-increasing production needs and to facilitate the critical R&D work, AMS has equipped itself with latest infrastructure facility in its new plant which was inaugurated on 22nd December 2005, consisting of about 200,000 Sq Feet built up area including about 95,000 Sq. Feet of assembly / shop / stores area, in a plot of about 10 acres of land in the heart of Peenya Industrial Area in Bangalore.

AMS will have the state of the art manufacturing technology in its new plant to cater to the needs of domestic as well as the international market. With this infrastructure, AMS can produce about 1500 machines per year and has got vacant area to expand further to build another 3000 machines per year.

The Research & Development and continuous improvement is the backbone of the Company's growth.  Apart from continuously developing new products, the Company places heavy emphasis on using customer feedback to continuously improve its existing product line.  In pursuing its mission of attaining Technical leadership in the field of machine tools, it is the pride of AMS's qualified engineers that the Organisation does not rely on any Technical Collaboration.  Ever since AMS started producing VMC’s, the usage of Vertical Machining Centers in the country increased significantly in the Small Scale Industry.  AMS takes pride in transforming the Machining Technology in the country from the conventional process to CNC Machining process.

AMS was started here in 1994 on a rented place	Shifted to own premises with 14000 sq.Feet in 1998
